After selecting English or Spanish, push 4 to schedule an intake appointment.
Single Point Of Entry (SPOE) is the non-emergency telephone intake office for the Austin Travis County MHMR Center. A SPOE Specialist conducts a brief screening with each caller to determine if s/he might be eligible for ATCMHMR services, and, if so, what division of ATCMHMR would best meet the caller’s needs. If applicable, the SPOE Specialist then schedules an appointment for the caller so that a more in-depth clinical and financial screening can be conducted. SPOE Specialists refer callers to other agencies in the community when appropriate.
SPOE Specialists take calls from 8:00am-5:00pm, Monday through Friday. The SPOE office is closed on weekends, Center holidays and for weather emergencies.
