Emergency Services
24/7 Crisis Hotline: 512-472-(HELP) 4357
The 24/7 Crisis Hotline is the centralized telephone intake
for the Austin Travis County MHMR Center. Specialists provide
the initial phone contact with consumers by conducting a brief
screening with callers to determine if s/he might be eligible for
ATCMHMR services, and, if so, what division of ATCMHMR would best
meet the consumer's needs.
More in-depth clinical and financial screenings are done at the
intake appointments. The 24/7 Crisis Hotline also refers callers to other agencies in the
community when appropriate.
