Toni Inglis, RN, MSN, CNS, Chair
Mrs. Inglis was appointed in 1998 by the Austin City Council and is a member of the Executive Committee and New Milestones Foundation Board.
Toni Inglis has practiced neonatal intensive care nursing for thirty years. She is well known as a talented medical writer with the ability to explain complex health issues in easily understood terms. Ms. Inglis edits a monthly nursing publication for the Seton Family of Hospitals and has authored more than 40 articles in newspapers as well as scholarly journals and text books. A passionate advocate for high-quality public health care, she has served on numerous commissions and task forces, among them the Ryan White HIV Planning Council, the Indigent Care Work Team, the Brackenridge Evaluation Team and the Community Action Network. A native Austinite, she holds two Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree from The University of Texas at Austin and was selected to study under the late Congresswoman Barbara Jordan. |
