Exalton A. Delco, Ph.D., Trustee
Dr. Delco was appointed in 1994 by the Austin City Council and serves on the
Public Relations Committee and New Milestones Foundation Board.
Exalton Delco, adjunct professor of the Community College
Leadership Program at the University of Texas at Austin, has
served as a college professor and university administrator.
He served as Special Assistant to the Office of the President
at The University of Texas at Austin from 1994-1995, as Vice-President
of Academic Affairs at Austin Community College from 1985-1993,
as Professor of Biology and Vice-President of Academic Affairs
at Huston-Tillotson College from 1960-1985, and as Assistant
Professor of Biology at Texas Southern University from 1950-1960.
He has published in scientific journals and authored chapters
in three textbooks. He holds membership on the Salvation Army
Advisory Board and the Board of the Boy Scouts of America.
Dr. Delco received his Ph.D. from The University of Texas
at Austin, a Masters Degree from the University of Michigan
and his undergraduate degree at Fisk University.
